2024 Trip Dates/Route

let me double check some dates.  either friday the aug 2 or aug 9 i am doing some camping?

Yes, those dates still work for me (July 28 through August 3).  I would prefer to come back on the 3rd so we have a recoup day before going back to work.  Will 7 days be enough for a shorter trip?

Sooooo....what is everyone's preference?  Thunder then onto Winnie or Winnie then onto Thunder?!

If we use all the days we will end up with 7 total. 

Sunday the 28th - Drive to Duluth
Monday the 29th - Tour around Duluth area
Tuesday the 30th - Drive to Thunder Bay
Wednesday the 31st - Tour around Thunder Bay
Thursday the 1st - Drive to Winnipeg
Friday the 2nd - Tour Winnipeg
Saturday the 3rd - Drive home

Something like that would allow for 2 nights at each destination allowing for better availability for Airbnb's.

Just an idea.  Any other suggestions?

We could take the southern route from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg and split you off at International Falls on Thursday.  Would add about 60 miles than just coming back through Duluth.  It would be 480 miles versus 426.

would 1 night stay in duluth be doable, so that we arrive eventually in Winnie on wednesday?  then i can leave on thursday and the rest of the 2 wheel riders can hang in Winnie till saturaday?
