How about this long journey?!  If we go 450 miles a day we can do it in ten (10) days...so maybe a few days longer up to maybe two weeks we could have a good time in the Keys and at Dry Tortugas National Park. Maybe go offshore deep sea fishing or snorkeling or take the sea plane out to the park instead of a ferry?!

day 1=Friday>                         1 day travel to Black hills
day 2 & 3=Sat,Sun>                2 days in Black hills
day 4=Mon>                           1 day travel to Colorado
day 5 thru 8=Tue,Wed,Th,Fri>  4 days in Steamboat Springs, Colorado
day 9 thru 10=Sat,Sun>          2 days to travel back home.

Utah would have a lot to offer, but I think if we would head that way, we should probably only stay in the Rapid City area for one night and keep moving to Utah.  I am sort of leaning towards Nicks itinerary.  Looks nice and leisurely   .  I don't think we would have any problem finding things to do in Rapid City and the Denver area.  Should we lock it in?  What do you guys think?
