The Key West one may require more days.  5000 miles round trip and more traffic is gonna take some time!

DC could be interesting.

I like the Key West route and I am thinking a two week trip....but we will have to plan it for spring time.  I guess that being said, I would say we should be planning this for two years from now. (2017)

How about we make the Washington DC trip a bit longer and go through North & South Carolina and down to Georgia?

2 week trip?  Thats a long time.  Maybe we could plan that one for 2020!?!?

Nicks route is 3000 miles which would give us some time to explore DC.  Nates 3500 mile route would take a little more than an additional day.

Are we thinking a 9 day trip again? 

If so, 3500 miles, 2 days of DC and 7 days of driving = 500 mile days
Or 3000 miles, 2 days of DC and 7 days of driving = 429 mile days

Maybe 2 days of DC is too long?

East is going to be busier, so 500 mile days might be tough.
