2012 Trip Dates

Thought I would throw out a couple dates for the trip next year.  What do you guys think?

May 25 to June 2
July 20 to July 28

Unfortunately all of June is already booked up for me.  What do you guys think about these dates?

I like the second set of dates myself.....it seems if we go in May that it comes too early and the weather is potentially still cold.

So I would prefer to go with the July dates.

Nice route, but I really think we should stay in Nashville for a few days and do some day trips.  Maybe save the golf coast for another year?  What ch yall think?

Yeah, it just depends on what all you really want to do in Nashville.  I am open to anything.  I just looked mileage wise and 3500 miles ain't to bad, but yeah I guess that doesn't leave multiple days at one location.

By the way what are the specific dates we are gone again.  I need to put in on the schedule at work.  So I only need to take May 28th - June 1st off from work?

Does anyone really want to go to Nashville?  We can pick a different destination, or no destination at all, just keep driving each day.  That doesn't give us time to stop any where and do anything, but if that is what everyone wants to do, I'm game.  I have may 26th through the June 3rd blocked off.

I don't necessarily not want to go to Nashville but......I think we need to have some kind of plan for our time there if we do go.  We have to have something that someone would like to do while there.  I haven't really found anything that totally stands out for me when research things to do in Nashville, other than check out the bar scene and live music. (Preferably the blues and not country!)

This is why I called the meeting to order!!!  Let us get together, eat, drink, and be merry!  Oh, and plan our route......
