Here is the modification:
Sunday the 28th - Drive to Duluth
Monday the 29th - Drive to Thunder Bay
Tuesday the 30th - Tour around Thunder Bay
Wednesday the 31st - Drive to Winnipeg
Thursday the 1st - Tour Winnipeg or drive home
Friday the 2nd - Tour Winnipeg
Saturday the 3rd - Drive home

We could take the southern route from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg and split you off at International Falls on Thursday.  Would add about 60 miles than just coming back through Duluth.  It would be 480 miles versus 426.

If we use all the days we will end up with 7 total.

Sunday the 28th - Drive to Duluth
Monday the 29th - Tour around Duluth area
Tuesday the 30th - Drive to Thunder Bay
Wednesday the 31st - Tour around Thunder Bay
Thursday the 1st - Drive to Winnipeg
Friday the 2nd - Tour Winnipeg
Saturday the 3rd - Drive home

Something like that would allow for 2 nights at each destination allowing for better availability for Airbnb's.

Just an idea.  Any other suggestions?

Yes, those dates still work for me (July 28 through August 3).  I would prefer to come back on the 3rd so we have a recoup day before going back to work.  Will 7 days be enough for a shorter trip?

Nick, I see your route takes the southern route on 11 through Canada.  Have we ever taken the northern route on 17?  I cant remember.

Yes, that is correct.  I have something going on on July 6th and on the 13th, so Sunday the 7th through Friday the 12th is the best I could do for that week.   I am on call the 13th and 14th, but might be able to switch if we want to utilize the weekend as well.

Thanks for getting this started Dogg!

If we are looking for a shorter trip, my vote is for Winnipeg or Thunder Bay or both.
And if a longer, Ozarks/Branson.

And for dates, I have these available:
July 7 through July 12
July 26th through August 3
August 2 through August 10
August 23 through August 31
A couple of other weekends that I am on call and could juggle things around to make them work.

What is everyone else thinking?

I am going to make some egg bake for Sunday morning.  Stop by at 7:30 AM if you would like to eat and drink some coffee before hitting the road.

For your GPS routing pleasure, please see the attached files.

Not that we have to stop at these, but I added dinner for these days:
Sunday July 16th has a stop for dinner at Sir Smoke A Lot BBQ in St Croix Falls Wisconsin  https://www.facebook.com/SirSmokeALotBBQ
Monday July 17th has a stop for dinner at Side Track in Powers Michigan
Friday July 21st has a stop for dinner at Mickey-Lu Bar-B-Q in Marinette WI  https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100048134634092

Saturday we can fast all the way home after all of the calories we consumed on the trip and failed to burn off on the motor cycle seat!

GPX files are version 1.2.

Enjoy!

You could post a trip to Chewy's downtown Hoffman and Nick would reply "I like it.,,,,".

Seems like a nice, quaint place with a nice coat rack for our leather cycle gear!  Although I think you may have an error in your post above indicating that it is in Wausau.  Other than that, $463.16 sounds like a respectable figure for a week long trip.  Throw in some cheap eats, some fuel for our fuel sipping cycles and we just might be able to do it for under $1k.  Ok, maybe a little over with my fuel guzzling bike.

Thank you sir for dedicating the time and effort to do this.  Heck, the hardest part is going to be washing the Gee Double You up so it looks presentable.

If you don't mind, I'll PayPal you so we are even.  Is it customary to tip 20% for these services?  Asking for a friend....

I vote for them in the order you have them.  I am good with the price if the rest are.

Ok, Nick asked for the time off and I put it on my calendar too.

June 16th through the 22nd.

Nate & Shawn, you good with that?  Can we make it official?
