I looked at that one too, Russell. I think when I looked at it a month ago it was more expensive...but I like it and it has my vote.

I like it! 4 beds, nice! You have my vote.

A rough idea from Vegas, NV to Hoffman, MN (Fargo,ND) - https://goo.gl/maps/cLDFPFiqeN12
-
Looks good Nate. Not much in that area. Looks nice and reasonable as well. You have my vote!
-
The only thing about it that I don't like is they have no reviews, and only 60% response rate. Plus, only two reviews for staying at other peoples AirBnB's, since 2015... :-\
-
Hmm, yea, does seem a little suspicious. The response rate is down to 50% now. Maybe keep looking?
-
Maybe we head further south towards Santa Fe? This place is nice, but a little spendy:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/12265138
Or there are lots of choices in Albuquerque. 345 miles from Kremmling. What do you think?
-
I agree, many more AirBnB options in Albuquerque, NM...but we could also go the hotel route in Farmington, NM?! They have a Holiday Inn Express and a La Quinta.
Thoughts?!
-
I like BnB's myself. Unless we are really set on Farmington, my vote is for ABnB.
Nick? Are you there?
-
I, to like b and b, but if a hotel works out better,,,, I like it!! Will we be able to go visit the four corners from our stay??
-
Going to Albuquerque would probably take us too far out of the way for the 4 corners.
How about a stay in Blanding?
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/11497085
369 from Kremmling and only 249 to Flagstaff, or 290 taking the scenic route.
No problem stopping at the 4 way on that route!
-
DONE! I booked it.
Sorry, for the delay in getting more of the accommodations booked but I have been working hard to get some work projects out (overtime, etc.) and don't really feel like going on the computer when I get home at night. Now that the projects "are out" I should be able to put more effort towards getting things finalized...
Later,
Nate Dogg
P.S. I am typing up the itinerary in Word format (like last year) it will include a link to the Google Map route (AirBnB door to door) and a link to the actual AirBnb accommodations, as well as each nights accommodation pricing and a final tally.
-
Thanks Dogg!!
-
Hey, no problem Dogg. Sometimes sitting in front of a PC at the end of the day is the last thing I want to do as well.
Yea, that document made it a breeze to make the route in myrouteapp last year. Appreciate you being organized and making it!
Is Flagstaff our next destination?
-
As far as I know it still is...but my question to you fellas, before I book too much more, is; when or what day(s) are we planning to see the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon? And should we look into tickets for tours, etc.?
I guess it looks like the route includes Grand Canyon visit on day we go from Flagstaff to Las Vegas...May 22nd. And then we have a "free" day while at Las Vegas, so I assume that would be the Damn (Dam) Day...May 23rd. Does this seem correct?!

Wow! Lots of options in Flagstaff. It's a hard decision, all of them look nice and have enough beds.
I like these the best:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/15930581?s=51
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16690752?s=51
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/10545596?s=51
First one being my first choice.
What do you guys like?
-
Russ likes these the best:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/15930581?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/15930581?s=51) = $368
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16690752?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16690752?s=51) = $314
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/10545596?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/10545596?s=51) = $272
I myself am drawn to these:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22209138?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22209138?s=51) = $294
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/17471671?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/17471671?s=51) = $260
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/21052965?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/21052965?s=51) = $335
They too are in order of my top to bottom picks...
I like the ones Russ picked as well, especially his #1, but I wasn't sure about the price?! ??? Nickoli has already questioned my picks, as far as pricing goes...
-
it all looks good!! cheaper the better,,,right?
-
Well, Russ after Nickoli's comment and looking at some of the reviews for your #1 pick...I am ruling that one out! It is not actually the entire house, a long term tenant lives below and the quiet time starts at 8pm. A lot of people were not thrilled to find this out and have that tenant come up at or even before 8pm to complain to them about the noise...
-
Ok, sorry about that. I wasn't picking the date and selecting the number of people. The base price is cheap, but then when you fill in all of the details, it adds all of the other charges. Wow, the price shoots right up then! I don't know if I am fully on board with the cheaper the better, but yea, getting into the $300 range is getting right up there. Your $294 pick is just fine by me. I did some looking as well, and there are lots to choose from, but they sure know what they want in that area. Just as a comparison I checked a couple of hotels and they are right in the $180 range, so going that route wouldn't really save anything.
-
No need to apologize, I was just pointing out what I found out. I agree with you, they sure do seem to know what they want for pricing in that area and I thought they might be cheaper because of being so early in the season but noooo! I also looked at some hotels and they are not much cheaper...I was looking at your 3rd option and my 2nd or 1st. I like the cheaper price of your 3rd and my 2nd, plus all three of these have the best locations, as far as our route is concerned. The only problem I have with your 3rd is someone has to share a bedroom. (Not huge deal.) My 2nd, the cheapest, is someone has to either sleep in the same bed or on couch. And lastly my 1st choice the only problem, which may not be this time of year, is it doesn't have AC...Nickoli, Russ give me your thoughts!
-
Well I just didn't want you guys to think it was a money is no object kind of deal! So many difficult choices here. OK, my final vote, my 3rd option:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/10545596?s=51 for $272
Yes, someone will have to share a room, but we will all have real beds.
Nate, your first one would be my next choice. We'd have to flip open a sofa bed, but that's no biggie.
-
It all looks good to me, you guys got good smarts in value added accommodations picking for our 2 wheel riders premium members!!
I was thinking hotels after Vegas, when heading home, to see how fast or slow we make it home and how how many miles a day we want to do a day when heading home? Get tired of riding we just pull over and get a hotel, or if we want to go butt burner and get a hotel further down the road?
What you 2 wheel riders homies think?
-
Sorry, I had trouble narrowing it down, but I did read all the reviews & rules, and these seemed to be as advertised.
Here are some properties I found for Vegas baby (all the prices are for 2 nights):
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/23899557?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/23899557?s=51) = $307
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22391496?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22391496?s=51) = $385
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22035621?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22035621?s=51) = $403

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/23173163?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/23173163?s=51) = $587
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/19491805?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/19491805?s=51) = $587 (6 car garage!!)
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16215527?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16215527?s=51) = $594
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16806956?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16806956?s=51) = $610
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20803129?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20803129?s=51) = $621
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/18699771?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/18699771?s=51) = $674
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22795077?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22795077?s=51) = $720
and one condo on the 51st floor of the Palms Place:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22730324?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22730324?s=51) = $619
I guess let me know your thoughts on which one(s) you like best and we can go from there...I will then need to contact the hosts of the ones we like the best and verify some details including parking!
Later,
Nate Dogg
-
don't go top floor, there are earthquakes in Vegas!!
-
Nickoli,
Seriously...that is what you think of?! ??? ::)
Anyway, I think we can eliminate these:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22795397?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22795397?s=51) = $783
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/15044294?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/15044294?s=51) = $801
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/23661920?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/23661920?s=51) = $812
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/14506263?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/14506263?s=51) = $839
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20236217?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20236217?s=51) = $843
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16407211?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16407211?s=51) = $843
Since I am sure everyone agrees they are too expensive and aren't that much better than the lower priced ones...
-
Well, if you stay on the bottom floor, you might get crushed in an earth quake!
-
Yeah, yeah...enough with the natural disaster talk.
We need to actually narrow down this list, by each one of you choosing your top 2 or 3.
Some of these may not even be available by the time we decide! :o
-
Ok here are my top 2 coming in at below $410 for both nights:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22035621?s=51
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22391496?s=51
I based these decisions on price & beds/sleeping arrangements.
The more expensive ones are definitely nice, but you can get a pretty nice place for less.
Now the condo at Plams is pretty sweet, and only $78 per person per night based on quad occupancy!
Wait.... will there be 4? Is Shawn joining us in Vegas? Does anyone know?
-
I to like the selections Russ has chosen.
Plus, I also like these:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/14615820?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/14615820?s=51) = $537
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/19491805?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/19491805?s=51) = $587 (6 car garage!!)
and of course the "33rd FLOOR OF THE PALMS PLACE"
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22730324?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22730324?s=51) = $619
I am willing to spend a little extra here for multiple reasons; 1.) We are staying here multiple nights, 2.) It's Vegas baby! When are going to actually be here again, with all of us, so why not splurge for something a little nicer than we are used to, 3.) We are on vacation we should be staying in something decidedly nicer than our own homes and better than most hotels.
P.S. I am willing to pay the difference (keep it reasonable) for someone who does not wish to spend over a certain amount.
Later,
Nate Dogg
-
The 51st floor would be great for making ham radio contacts!!
-
Good points there Nate. I am willing to splurge for the Palms Place. I agree with Nick that it will certainly improve the ratio of ham radio contacts to dollars spent!
But, I did see this in the listing:
- The hotel requires a $180 departure cleaning fee to be paid at check-in.
So would that be $619 + $180? If so, that does bump the price up a bit.
Wait... am I looking at the right place? The description of the place you liked to says:
2,100 square foot 2 bedroom luxury suite with 4 beds ON THE 33RD FLOOR with 3 OPEN BALCONIES with breathtaking Strip and mountain views!
Ham radio contacts will be considerably less if we are on the 33rd floor!
-
I know we have to narrow down Vegas yet, but what do you guys think of this route after Vegas?
Las Vegas NE to Provo UT
Provo UT to Steamboat Springs CO
Steamboat Spring CO to Gordon NE
Gordon NE to Home
https://goo.gl/maps/LCkk8piRAL72
I chose them based on mileage as well as availability of AB&B's, except for Gordon NE. There is only one AB&B available there, but it looks nice:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/18308226
Gordon to home would be the longest day of our trip at 515 miles to Hoffman and 537 to Fargo, so if any of you object, I understand. If no objections, we would have to get on booking Gordon, or risk losing it.
I know Nick talked about maybe just catching hotels on the way back, but I really like the B&B's (and having the course charted and accommodations booked ahead of time). Of course there is a risk in booking ahead of time that you might not make it because of weather or other uncontrollable circumstances, but if at the end of the trip we have all made it home safe, losing a few bucks on a missed stay isn't the end of the world. Having an entire house to kick back with the premium 2wheelriders members at the end of the day is pretty slick. Parking by the front door (or better yet in the garage), no dealing with other guests and a couch to relax on is pretty nice too. I think we know that an average of 450 miles per day is a comfortable goal to shoot for and I really want to save the Iron Butt ride for some other time. But hey, I know I'm not the only one on this trip and have to respect the opinions of the other premier members, so feel free to let me know if I am getting way out of line here.
-
I like your thinking! You have done a fantastic job setting up air b and b's. If the cost is the same as hotels, I like kicking back with the other premium 2 wheel rider members also in the same house!! And the bikes are park just outside the door!
-
That all works for me premium 2 wheel rider member Russ. I think we should book this Gordon, NE location ASAP, but please make sure you saw the part about remote and dirt tracks...it sounds like it is 9 miles off the highway on gravel/dirt roads. The only thing I would change is the end of the route, so we have more ride time together and I have less solo interstate riding. (I know it is a little selfish but... ;))
https://goo.gl/maps/LdpwsFREcLw (https://goo.gl/maps/LdpwsFREcLw)
It saves us a few miles but is basically the same time...
-
I found the original 51st Floor experience...
"51st FLOOR OF THE PALMS PLACE"
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22166691?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22166691?s=51) = $631 (for 2 nights)
Later,
Nate Dogg
-
No problem on the route home. I just let google pick the route.
I did'nt see where it said it is 9 miles on gravel, but hey, the bikes are going to be dirty by then I am sure. Should we confirm before booking? Any reservations of riding gravel?
I'll get a chance to check out the Vegas places in more detail tomorrow night.
Later.
Russ
-
Russ, it did not say in the description, it just said remote...but in reading one of the reviews, that was one of the ladies complaints. I still think it should be fine unless it just happened to rain or was raining when we were there. I can message the host and ask them what they think about motorcycles getting out to the location. I am game to book it. Nick, Shawn???
-
Ok, I dont have a problem with it, but I cant speak for the others. Yea, if you would check that would be great. Thanks!
-
The only thing I really want to see is the Grand Canyon Skywalk.
-
I have attached an updated version of the 2018 Moto Trip.doc. It now goes to Grand Canyon - West and the Skywalk, instead of Grand Canyon - South and Grand Canyon National Park. It also includes Russell's route home...
Oh yeah, I talked with Jill the host of the Gordon, NE place, and she to thought it would be fine for us to get up the road...unless it was wet and/or rainy. So, I booked it! After putting it on the map...it will be an interesting 9.6 miles from the highway to this location. It has an address but Google does not recognize it, so I had to find it with the satellite view based on her directions and pictures of the place. (Her direction include 15-17 auto animal gates...)
Later,
Nate Dogg
-
Well, hopefully the animal gates don't stop Doggs!
Looking for places in Vegas is a daunting task. So many choices.
Here is what I have it narrowed down to for reasonable places with garages:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/21300573?location=Las%20Vegas%2C%20NV%2C%20United%20States&adults=3&check_in=2018-05-22&check_out=2018-05-24&s=qhflihwy

Russ,
I would say #2 or #3.
#2 https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/9488365?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/9488365?s=51)
#3 https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/21684226?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/21684226?s=51)
I like the decor of the 4th but for the price it doesn't even have a pool or pool table! Who plays Foosball anymore?!
I like the pool and outdoor area best for #3, but the no paper (TP) in the toilets is a deal breaker, unless they have that fixed now.
I really like the pool table for #2, plus it has a pool.
Anyway, those are my thoughts.
I plan on having some AirBnB's for the final few days for everyone to peruse sometime this weekend.
Later,
Dogg
-
#2 is a bit closer to the strip for those economical uber rides ;).
Either is fine by me. I wont be disappointed by either.
Shawn? Nick? Are you guys here?
Yea, I was going to start looking for the final days, but havent yet. If you have some suggestions, send em on over.
Thanks Dogg!
-
Hello premium 2 wheel riders!! I am concerned about the 6 mi gravel road, may be leading us to our demise? What if it's atrap, a trap to catch the 2 wheel riders? Nobody would be able to find us on 6 miles on gravel road!! Just being paranoid!! thanks
-
I think we can manage, besides it's not 6 miles, it is 9.6 miles...so if it was 6 than maybe I would be worried but almost 10, we should be just fine!
-
Here are some I came up with for Provo, UT. It is not easy finding an entire home, nobody lists them properly, and everyone seems to have a basement apartment in this town...
(They are order of my fav's!)
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20568465?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20568465?s=51) for $300

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/17418561?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/17418561?s=51) for $148
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/18142701?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/18142701?s=51) for $143 (one of the better basement apartments)
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/21779832?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/21779832?s=51) for $296
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/21439327?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/21439327?s=51) for $323
Well, I guess let me know your thoughts.

Here is what I found in Steamboat Springs, CO. Not a whole lot to choose from...
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20309801?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20309801?s=51) for $227

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6198403?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6198403?s=51) for $257

Good choices Dogg!
For Provo, my vote goes to your choice #2. Nice place and a good value.
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/23580346?s=51 for $185
And for Steamboat, either 1 or 2. I like 2 a little better, but 1 has a nice outdoor area. Can I split my vote? :o
Were you still waiting on Vegas? Or are we good there?
-
And we don't necessarily have to stay in Steamboat either. The map from Provo to Gordon shows a more northern route, but there may not be many choices up that way either.
-
Accommodations, maps, and pricing are complete! 8)
-
Awesome Dogg! Thanks for your time and effort in booking the rooms and putting the information together.
Shall I start on the routing at myrouteapp.com?
-
I don't see why not. Unless you or anyone else see any problems with the routes or wish to change them, I think they should be good to go! ;D 8)
-
lets fill our gps navigators up with electronic miles!!
-
I thought we were planning on staying in hotels after we left Vegas?
-
I thought we were planning on staying in hotels after we left Vegas?
We did discuss that back in replies #27 & #37-#39
-
Gentlemen,
I have attached an updated trip itinerary. I made some tweaks to the pricing per person, it now includes pricing for Shawn staying with us for the whole journey. (Sorry, I assumed you were departing early Shawn!! :-\ I was just going by the information I had available at the time...)
Later,
Nate Dogg
-
We will see how the house closing goes, I might not be able to go at all.
-
Here are some electronic miles for you to enjoy! I will be adding the rest as I get them done. All are in gpx 1.0 There is also a version 1.1, but the Garmins dont like that version. Nick, if yours would like the 1.1 version, just let me know.
-
Hercules, Hercules!!! ;) ;D
-
yo Russ, thanks for the electronic gps miles!! i could give the ver.1.1 a try? i am willing to bet a can of soda, that it will not be as accommodating as your gps has been on previous trips as to following the route exactly!! where as mine seems to do whatever!! but with that being said, as long as i can see your brake lights or as long as i can see your head lights in the rear view mirros, i might be on the correct direction of the planned route!! thank you once again to this matter and yours and Nate Doggs attention to details!! And can you put all the McD's on the routes please?! I am Lovin It!!
-
You can sure give the ver 1.1 a try. I have attached it to this message. The file doesn't appear to have much different inside of it, so I don't really know what the difference is. Maybe it will keep you precisely on route! Even if we don't see each others lights, I think your high tech machinery will get you to point B, perhaps just by taking a different route. I will leave the custom McD's POI's up to you. You can find them here:
http://www.poi-factory.com/node/11154
Load em up Nick-Lovin-It!
-
More electronic miles!
-
And the final routes. A piece of cake electronically!
-
Dogg, did you pay for these stays already? Some? None? Do you want payment? Talk to us!
-
Yes. Everything is paid in full. You can pay me at your discretion, especially since we cannot yet say what the cost per person is... 8)
Hey man, what about a The Dogg House to Sturgis, SD route?!! Come on man!! :P ;)
-
I know, right? I'm slackin! I dont want you making it to the pastry shop before we get there. Those are my pastries!! ;D
-
Day 1 from Hoffman to Sturgis I didn't have enough points in and the GPS wanted to take us on the freeway the whole way. Attached is a modified GPX with more points to keep us on the side roads.
And I discovered that my GPS didnt like having the Date - Destinations.gpx format of the files. It refused to import them that way, so I had to rename them to just the date like the one attached.
Enjoy!
-
Interesting, i will reload! Ten 4 good buddy,,,,
-
Huh! ??? Very interesting because my GPS imported all of the files and when I looked at the 1st day Sturgis route it appeared fine.
As far as the name of the file, didn't yours work last year? Because you had them labelled the same way last year; date and destination. I know because I still had them in my GPS memory card and decided to delete them when I added the new ones...
Anyway, lets all get them loaded and tested before the actual trip. I plan on getting some riding and testing in this weekend! 8)
-
Sorry, I forgot, I had to doctor your Hoffman to Sturgis route to create my Dogg House to Sturgis route. Maybe that was the difference...but I did keep the labeling the same as you had, aside from the Hoffman part. ;)
-
Hmm, strange that the naming was tripping me up this year. They just refused to load when I would go to the trip planner section of my GPS. I have them all loaded and ready to go! You want a practice round before the big trip? I'd like that too. I need to give my new windshield a test to be sure I want it in front of my face for a few thousand miles. No more barn door, or at least not as big of a barn door :o.
-
Sure. When? Where you thinkin'? Fergus Falls for pizza, this weekend?
No barn door but a nice little flare at the top!
-
Tomorrow wont work for me, but maybe Sunday or next weekend.
How about these loops? Meet at Peillican Rapids and there are multiple food venues along the route.
https://goo.gl/maps/KTzF4yA7VXm
-
That could work! Tomorrow would probably be the only day I can make work, as I have my nieces birthday party next weekend (Friday evening and Saturday in New Prague, MN.) I will be available Sunday next weekend but I was planning on getting things ready and somewhat finalized for the trip that day.
-
I converted Russ's google map for tomorrow's journey. Please see attachment...you know to fully test the GPS's!
-
Gentlemen,
So, we had a cancellation of our accommodations in Las Vegas but AirBnB is giving us an extra $46.08 on top of the $460.75 we had already spent of the other place for a total of $506.83 for 2 nights.
Hey, the 33rd or 51st floor of the Palms Place is still available...
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22730324?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22730324?s=51)
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22166691?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22166691?s=51)
and now it is cheaper, only $394 (33rd) or $292 (51st) for 2 nights, still with the cleaning fee of $180, but the total is now just $574 or $472, respectively! (I can pay the cleaning fee if that would sweeten the deal for anyone...)
or these:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/17719005?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/17719005?s=51) = $258 for 2 nights
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/24655935?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/24655935?s=51) = $297 for 2 nights
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/24250722?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/24250722?s=51) = $372 for 2 nights
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6971317?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6971317?s=51) = $476 for 2 nights
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22410708?s=51 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22410708?s=51) = $495 for 2 nights +$180 cleaning fee = $675
These are the only ones I looked at, there were many more (about 130 total)...
Let me know your thoughts.
Later,
Nate Dogg
-
The 51st floor would be one hell of a view!! i wonder if i could see the farm silo back home from the 51st floor??!!
-
It sounds like 51st floor it is. And dont forget the discount from the previous booking, right?
What was the parking arrangement again? Underground or ramp?
-
Gentlemen, the 51st Floor at Palms Place is booked!
Russ, I am not sure how the whole thing will shake out...it paid for the whole updated stay via a coupon for the full amount. Nothing new from me...but I am not sure what happened to the difference being that it was actually cheaper!!??
*UPDATE* They credited my account for the difference, but did not include the extra $46.08...I assume because it was less than the original amount.
Also, the parking arrangement, as I know it is, parking ramp valet or non-valet.
I have updated the attached itinerary. We will need to change the GPS files to include the new Las Vegas address.
-
Ahhh, parking ramp,,,,i will use the short antenna!!
-
Awh, come on Nick!! I thought you said you could use the tall one and just bend it down with a quick disconnect thingy thru and while in the parking ramp??!!
-
It might poke some ones eye out!!
-
Very good! 51st floor and the big antenna!
Updated GPX files for your electronics pleasure!
-
Big antenna it is!! i did a power and SWR test last night and the big one is the best performer!! and that's what she said!!
-
May 22 didnt attach properly. Looks good now!
-
:o ;) ;D
-
Gentlemen,
Any last thoughts before the big epic journey?!
Also, what time were we looking to meet up for breakfast on Friday?!
Please either post your responses or maybe we should try to have a phone conversation...
Later,
Nate Dogg
-
No last thoughts here. You will have all of the details for the B&B's for when we arrive?
How about we plan on Rosalies in Sisseton at 9:30? It looks to be about an hour and a half for us as well as you.
We have some people over tomorrow night for Ashleys birthday, so I dont know if I will have time for a call. I have to pack yet too! :o
-
Yes, I will have all the B&B details on my phone app.
9:30am works for me. I will plan on meeting you there at 9:30am unless I hear otherwise.
I will need to finalize my packing tomorrow night as well.
-
I like it!!! 2 wheel riders will dominate the roads once again!! Anybody been checking the weather forcast for the planned route?
-
Ok, 9:30 at the pastry shop...WHOH!
I'm glad to see I'm not the only last minute packer.
No checking of the weather forecast here. I guess I did look at Friday, and it looks like we could get wet already the first day :(. Other than that, 2 wheel riders are all about the element of surprise! Ride on!
-
Get a good night sleep! See you all in the morning!
-
Yea!!!
-
Well Boys,
I have attached the latest updated prices for the trip.
Please let me know if you think something does not look correct.
Later,
Nate Dogg
